Purpose Statement: First Church of Nazarene, a Community of Hope, exists
to produce full devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Our fellowship is a place of Healing for the hurting, a place of Opportunity
for new relationships, a place of Praise and celebrative worship uniting
all people and a place where people are Equipped to overcome the challenges
of life - A Community of HOPE.
Whether you're a spiritual seeker who's just beginning to ask questions
about God or a Christ-follower who wants to deepen your faith, you'll
find a warm welcome. At First Nazarene you will feel free to investigate
the claims of Jesus Christ anonymously or to develop authentic relationships
with others.
In addition to being a local fellowship with a mission strategy designed
in the context of the Chicagoland area, our church also supports a global
vision. We support compassionate ministries, schools, hospitals and churches
in 145 world areas.
We welcome you to a church with heart and touch for the local community
along with a vision for the whole world. We exist to be radically devoted
to Christ, irrevocably committed to each other, and relentlessly dedicated
to reaching those outside God's family with the good news of Jesus Christ.
