People building community! That's the story of the Nazarene Church. Over 1.4 million people worship every week in more than 11,900 Nazarene Churches in the United States, Canada and 145 areas around the world. We are young and old, married and single, parents and children. We come from all walks of life, we are of every color, nation and language - but we have one thing in common - a desire to serve God and share His blessings with those around us.

The Church of the Nazarene are people who believe in the God of the Bible, and believe He is moving in today's world. Our roots are in the Methodist Church and Holiness movement of the late 1800's.

Currently the Church of the Nazarene both here in the United States and around the world makes up the world's largest denomination in the Wesleyan-Arminian theological tradition. But numbers fail to tell the real story, and statistics can never meet human needs.

At some point, we all need someone who cares. We may need help in coming to know God, with problems in our homes, or we may be troubled by any other multitude of challenges that come our way keeping us from being happy and fulfilled. That's when we realize we need someone bigger than ourselves. Because Jesus cares for people, the Church of the Nazarene is people who care about each other.
